Year 5 have had an amazing time designing, making and evaluating vegan salads for DT week.

They had to include seasonal vegetables and sources of protein as part of their design criteria. We have learnt about Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger) and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). This links with UNCRC Article 24: We have the right to healthy food.
