Year 5 and 6 had an amazing opportunity at our "Careers Fair" yesterday afternoon.

We had a variety of deaf adults speak to us about their experiences with gaining work since they left school. Our visitors were dancers; Billy Read and Ariel Fung, health care assistant; Hamza, one of our teachers; Miss Harper and two of our teaching assistants; Mr Sheraz and Mr Belton. They each have had a variety of jobs which gave us lots of ideas and inspirations for our future journeys. This links with UNCRCs article 6: We should all be supported to live and grow and SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth.
