We have been leaning about Diwali.

We have a Diwali home corner and made plates of special food that is eaten at Diwali. We enjoyed dressing up in traditional clothes too. We made Mehndi hand patterns on the computer. Mrs Ahmed taught us how to make chapatis. We all made our own chapati and then watched how they were cooked. They were delicious!

Yesterday EY pupils decorated their eggs for the egg rolling competition on Friday. They gave them some practise by rolling them in paint!

In foundation we have been learning rhymes. We enjoyed acting out Incy Wincy Spider using props, we sequenced the pictures and used instruments to play along to the rhyme.

As part of our learning on changes in the environment we explored the snow today.

We used our whole bodies to see what happened when we walked on it, touched it and built with it. It felt cold and we left footprints and...
