Hummingbirds and Puffins had a lovely morning at the Masjid Hamza Mosque in Moseley this morning.

We were shown all around the mosque including the prayer rooms and teaching rooms. We learnt that we must take our shoes off when entering the mosque, which way Muslims face when they pray, how to wash before prayer and much more! The Mosque also very kindly donated two copies of The Qur'an for us to use in the school. Visiting different places of worship teaches our children to be respectful, curious and active in society.

I really enjoyed reading about Hummingbirds and Puffins’ visit to the mosque! It’s great that they learned so much about different cultures and traditions. Visiting places of worship helps us understand each other better. By the way, if anyone is looking for extra help with schoolwork, you can always buy assignment cheap to make things easier!
