We helped to chop wood and light the campfire, which we used to cook vegetarian meatballs with pasta and yummy hot chocolate! When we were all full, we went exploring. We found lots of insects by holding a white sheet under the trees and shaking the branches. We got to have a close look at some of the insects that like to live in the trees. We also looked at the ant's nests and watched them going in and out of their homes. Some of the ants even crawled onto sticks and the children enjoyed picking these up and watching them walk along. We can't wait to go again already! :)
