Individual Support. Every Child.
Longwill is a specialist school for Deaf children and works closely with pupils, families and professionals to understand and meet each child’s individual needs.
Provision is planned through teaching, specialist support, reasonable adjustments and, where applicable, Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.
Working in Partnership
Families are active partners in support planning and EHCP Annual Reviews. Communication is adapted to ensure pupils and families can participate meaningfully in decisions.
The school’s SEND Information Report should set out the full statutory information, including admissions arrangements for disabled pupils, steps taken to prevent less favourable treatment, facilities and support, and links to the Accessibility Plan and Birmingham Local Offer.
