Dear Parents,
We had a full governing body meeting last Wednesday, 3rd of October and wanted to let you know about some of the things we discussed.
We welcomed a new governor, Michelle Williams, who is a fundraiser and has been involved with the Deaf community in the West Midlands for many years. She will make a great contribution we are sure.
We established committee membership for the coming year, including the headteacher performance evaluation committee, the finance committee and curriculum committee.
We reviewed the school development plan - it is a challenging and exciting year ahead for the Longwill community and for our children!
We are meeting this weekend for a strategic 'stay day' at school, where we will take time to reflect on the big picture and our effectiveness as a governing body - we're looking forward to a productive Saturday morning.
